Max Flo 4000
Max Flo 4000 is a modified polycarboxylate ether bases superplasticiser having unique carboxylic ether polymer with long lateral chains, it is an effective cement dispersant, fluidifier and high range water reducer as compared to conventional superplasticisers.
Max Flo 4000 is a modified polycarboxylate ether-based superplasticiser formulated with unique carboxylic ether polymers having long lateral chains. It acts as an effective cement dispersant, fluidifier, and high-range water reducer, delivering superior performance compared to conventional superplasticisers.
STANDARD
ASTM C 494 Type D and G, BS EN 934-2
USES
Max Flo 4000 is specially designed for use in self-compacting concrete, high-strength concrete, and durable concrete containing GGBS, microsilica, fly ash, etc. It is widely used in ready-mix concrete applications where extraordinary slump retention is required, particularly under hot weather conditions. It is extremely effective in high-fines concrete mixes.
ADVANTAGES OF MAX FLO 4000
- Produces free-flowing concrete without segregation or bleeding.
- Enables high-strength concrete with low water content.
- Facilitates production of self-compacting concrete without segregation.
- Improves surface finish of concrete.
- Enhances adhesion to reinforcing and stressing steel.
- Reduces permeability and improves resistance to carbonation.
- Increases flexural strength.
- Provides excellent slump retention for extended periods.
- Delivers remarkably superior performance compared to conventional superplasticisers.

COMPATIBILITY
Max Flo 4000 is compatible with all types of cement and cementitious materials such as fly ash, GGBS, and microsilica. It should not be premixed with other admixtures unless specifically recommended by a Ressichem technician.
DOSAGE
The recommended dosage is 0.5% to 2.0% by weight of cementitious material. Higher dosages may be used after verification through laboratory and site trials. The optimum dosage of Max Flo 4000 and its effects on concrete properties such as workability, strength, and setting time should be determined through preliminary testing using actual site materials. For self-compacting concrete, use in conjunction with a suitable viscosity enhancer where required.
EFFECT OF OVERDOSING
Overdosing may result in increased workability and delayed setting. However, if the concrete is properly cured, the ultimate strength is generally higher than that of regular concrete.
PACK SIZE
Available in 1 Liter, 5 Liters, 10 Liters, 15 Liters, 25 Liters, and 200 Liters packaging.
DISPENSING
Max Flo 4000 should be directly dispensed into the concrete mixer along with the mixing water.
SHELF LIFE
12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in a cool and dry warehouse in original, unopened packaging. Exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity may reduce shelf life.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
This product is considered non-hazardous and safe for transportation. The use of suitable masks and gloves during application is recommended. Avoid direct contact with skin. Refer to the product MSDS for detailed health and safety information.
